Who are we?

We're a small concrete crew that works on houses. No commercial parking lots, no high-rise foundations. Our days are spent on the jobs homeowners care about most: the driveways that carry winter traffic, the porch and entry steps you use every day, and the walks and patios around them. Keeping the work residential means we're set up for tight side yards, shared driveways and older houses, which is most of what this city has.

We know the ground here. We've dug through sandy soil, old fill and buried stone walls, and we plan every job around what's actually under your concrete.

How does a job run from start to finish?

Every concrete job we do follows the same basic path, so there are no surprises:

1. The estimate

We come out, look at the concrete, measure, and ask what you want. If something underneath is causing the problem, we'll point it out. You get a written estimate that lists the work, the finish and the price.

2. Scheduling and permits

We give you a start date and check whether the job needs a permit from the city. If it does, we handle it. We'll also mark utilities before we dig.

3. Tear-out and base

The crew removes the old concrete, hauls it off, and builds the base. This is the part you won't see once the job is done, and it's the part that decides how long the new concrete lasts.

4. Pour and finish

We set forms, place steel, and pour. We finish the surface, cut control joints and cover or protect the concrete as the weather requires.

5. Cleanup and walkthrough

We strip the forms, backfill the edges, clean up, and walk the job with you. You get care instructions for the first month, including when to drive on it and why to skip salt the first winter.

What can you expect from our crew on your property?

You can expect the crew to show up when we said we would and to treat your property like it matters. We protect lawns and plantings where trucks and wheelbarrows go. We keep the street and your neighbor's driveway clear. If something unexpected turns up when the old concrete comes out, like a rotted footing or a buried pipe, we stop and talk to you before doing anything that changes the price.

Are we registered and insured?

Yes. Rhode Island requires contractors who work on homes to register with the Contractors' Registration and Licensing Board, and we carry liability insurance. We'll give you our registration number and a certificate of insurance before the job starts. Whoever you hire, ask for both.

When can you reach us?

We answer calls Mon–Sat 8am–6pm. Estimates are free, and we try to get out to see the job within a few days of your call. If you'd rather write than call, you can request an estimate online and include photos.
